I am so so thankful for families like the Lieu who trust every year with their family photos! This year we met down at Blackmud Creek, who can resist that pretty blue bridge! Their eldest, now being a toddler had other plans besides posing for photos, like walking his dog and checking out some leaves that were changing color. Family photos with toddlers can feel a little hectic and out of control, but don’t worry. I am prepared to play and explore with them.

Who said headshot had to be done in studio on a neutral backdrop? Not me! Your Headshot should be a real representation of you and your business, and we are all much more exciting than a grey backdrop in a studio somewhere.

Aliesha patiently waited for the cherry blossoms to bloom this year to get her headshots done. I love shooting in the cherry blossoms. I usually have to fight a little for some space since they are very popular, but there never disappoint.

Back in April, I got the pleasure of photography Juliana and Joshua for their maternity session. They were so excited to meet their little one (they had a little boy, he is adorable. Don’t worry I will be sharing that session too) that getting some giggles out of them wasn’t hard at all. I cannot wait to see this little family grow.

Happy First Friday of Spring!

I am loving the warm weather and can’t wait for the color to come back into the trees! For now, we have a gorgeous fall engagement session to look at. I met Austin and Becky at Hermitage park back in September. They had their first date here and knew it was the perfect location for their engagement photos. There were lots of giggles as they enjoyed on of the last fall evening here in Edmonton!
