Generally when a couple plans a September wedding they are planning for mild weather and colorful leaves. This September wedding was the hottest wedding day of my 2022 season. These two were prepared though, they had battery powered fans to get us through formals and never once complained about the heat.

Best Western Leduc Wedding | Leduc Wedding Photographer | Matt and Michele
On a chilly day in July, Matt and Michele got married! They had their ceremony in the cutest little chapel in Calmar. I love old country churches, especially for a wedding! Then we headed off to a family farm and Blackmud Creek for some formals, thankfully the rain held off for these two and they were able to get some beautiful outdoor formals! Last stop of the day was the Best Western in Leduc for their reception! Have a look through their beautiful day!

Grand Imperial Ballroom Wedding | University of Alberta Botanic Gardens | Shania and Meshach
Back in July I photographed Shania and Meshach’s beautiful wedding day! It was a very hot July day, but everything down to the last detail was perfect! I love photographing cultural weddings, the days are so fun!
I started with Shania at her parents house for some getting ready photos and a blessing by their pastor. Afterwards, we headed to the church for their ceremony.
Edmonton Wedding Photographer | New Sarepta Farm Wedding | Chantal and Taylor
In August Chantal and Taylor got married at Chantal’s family farm in New Sarepta. Getting rained out seems to be a theme this year, which is funny because we had such a dry year! Their day was beautiful, and I wish them nothing but happiness as they start their married life!

Edmonton Wedding Photography | Sherwood Park Acreage wedding | Breanna and Erik
On June 5 2021 Breanna and Erik got married!!
Their original plan was to get married at Hastings Lake gardens and have a large party afterwards, however COVID had other plans. They decided to get married at Erik’s parents acreage instead and save the party for next year! They had the most beautiful day and I can’t wait to photograph them again next year when they have their party!
