In October, I met with Chad, Mitch and Ella for some family photos down in Mill Creek. I love this location for late fall family photos because once all the leaves drop, there is still lots of low foliage that has beautiful fall colors. Of course there is also lots of leaves for the toddlers to play with!

Here’s another beautiful extended family session from October! I’ll be caught up on my blogging, just in time for wedding season to start and I’ll fall behind again.

This was my last session at MacTaggart , as they are redoing that blue bridge we all love so much!

In September I met with this lovely family for their extended family photos! I love extended family sessions, they are so much fun. You’re never too old for family photos!

Edmonton Fall Wedding Photographer | Edmonton Matrix Hotel Wedding

Way back in September I had the honor of photographing Megan and Keenan’s wedding at the Matrix hotel! Although this was technically a fall wedding, the weather made it feel like a summer day!

Megan and Keenan wanted to have a first look while keeping the tradition that you can’t see each other before the ceremony. I suggested a First Touch, which is a perfect compromise. Some couples choose to use a corner, some use blindfolds. A First Touch allows you to talk to your spouse and hold their hand before your ceremony!

Their day was absolutely beautiful, scroll to have a look!

Generally when a couple plans a September wedding they are planning for mild weather and colorful leaves. This September wedding was the hottest wedding day of my 2022 season. These two were prepared though, they had battery powered fans to get us through formals and never once complained about the heat.
