Hello There!

When I was in junior high school I took a photography course that my school offered and fell in love with the freedom it gave me. I was able to create anything that came into my mind and, as a student who had not excelled at any other art form, it was amazing. As I explored photography I learned that I could make my subjects feel that way too when I showed them some of the photographs I had taken of them. It made me feel so good to be able to make people feel so beautiful.

In 2015 I graduated from NAIT’s Photographic Technology program and was armed with all the skills I needed to make people look and feel amazing for the rest of my life! Thus, Nutmeg Photography was born.

I love travelling as much as I love photography. My camera always makes its way into my bag when I head out on vacation. My top destinations so far are France, the maritime provinces and Yellowstone National Park.

I look forward to meeting you to hear all about your family, no matter how big or small!

Alberta Based and willing to travel!

Although I live in Edmonton, you will also frequently find me in Calgary (no travel fees will be applied for Calgary!), Banff, Jasper and Camrose. I am always willing to travel for any session, Alberta or Canada wide!

On September 13, 2020, I married my high school sweetheart. Just like you, I planned a wedding around COVID restrictions and uncertain plans. I will tell you now, it was totally worth it. The day was amazing and beautiful and I’m so glad we didn’t wait.

Yes, I included my dogs in my wedding day (and you should too). They caused a little chaos as they walked with our sisters down the aisle, but no one was licked to death so I’m counting that one as a win.
