I love when couples get photos together, just to get photos together! These two got some photos done for their first anniversary this year. Matt picked a new location to me, since it was where they had their first date! I hope to see these two again soon!

Hello!
I met with Heather and John earlier this year for some gorgeous winter portraits! I love the light that comes with winter sunsets! I can't blieve winter is almost over!
Edmonton Travel Photography | The Rockies
Hello!!
The mountains is one of my favourite places to go! I usually don't get the chance to head down there much, but this summer I went down 4 times! Two of those times were for weddings (don't worry, you'll see those pictures later), and the other two were getaways for me!
The first time I went down, I went camping with my boy! I had never done the self-sufficient make breakfast on a tiny propane stove, type of camping before so it was quite the adventure for me! Our second day there we hiked up sulphur mountain, and of course i hiked up with my camera bag. It seemed like a bad idea about 20 minutes into the hike, but it was totally worth it!
Later in August, I drove down to Jasper to spend the day there with my family! I taught my dad how to use my DSLR, we hiked and I played with long exposure to take pictures of all the gorgeous waterfalls! As per tradition we ended the day with Jasper's Pizza and the fudge store! :)
I truly had a wonderful summer and am so thankful for all these wonderful people in my life! :)
Go take a look at the photos I took during my time in the Rockies!

Happy Friday Everybody!!
A little while ago, I did a couples shoot with Abby and Lane. We went down to Mill Creek Ravine Park, which turned out to be a beautiful location! Aside from being attacked by mosquitos, I had a great time with these two! I hope you enjoy their photos!

Good morning everyone!!
Today's blog post is a little different. One of my final assignments at school was to find a photographer that we admired and try to mimic their style of shooting and of editing. I chose the last forty percent photography. I tried my very best to mimic their style of photographing engagement photography, as their couples boudoir is gorgeous, it's a little too out there for me personally to photograph.
For the assignment, I edited the images as they would, but for here I edited them my own way. It was definitely a new experience trying to capture different kinds of moments then I usually do. I really like the photographs that I got out of this session. I think I'll try to incorporate this into my sessions in the future!
Anyways, go have a look and let me know what you think!!
