Couples

Edmonton Couples Photography | Elena and Ryan

Good morning everyone!!

Today's blog post is a little different. One of my final assignments at school was to find a photographer that we admired and try to mimic their style of shooting and of editing. I chose the last forty percent photography. I tried my very best to mimic their style of photographing engagement photography, as their couples boudoir is gorgeous, it's a little too out there for me personally to photograph.

For the assignment, I edited the images as they would, but for here I edited them my own way. It was definitely a new experience trying to capture different kinds of moments then I usually do. I really like the photographs that I got out of this session. I think I'll try to incorporate this into my sessions in the future!

Anyways, go have a look and let me know what you think!!

Sam and Kurt | Edmonton Couples Photography

Hello Everyone!

Happy Wednesday!

Today, we have Sam and Kurt making an appearance on the blog! You'll notice that all their images are in black and white. While I was editing this session I kept thinking, wow this image would look wonderful in black and white, and so did the next one and the next one after that. Before I knew it their entire session was in fact, in black and white. Some sessions are just meant to be in black and white, and that's okay, that's how they look their best!

Scroll down and enjoy the love shared in these black and white images!

Emily and Will | Edmonton Couples Photography

Hello Everyone!

For Emily and Will's session we were so lucky to have warm weather and lots of snow! It's a perfect combination that doesn't happen much in Edmonton, especially in the middle of February!

I had an absolute blast shooting with them!

Enjoy! And have a fabulous week!
